FMCG Supplier Development Initiative Programme

The Supplier Development Initiative (SDI) is a consortium dedicated to expanding market access for local and rural manufacturers, supporting emerging businesses, strengthening retail supply chains, and fostering community development and sustainable economic growth. In 2019, the initiative achieved significant success, creating employment opportunities and contributing to the growth of local enterprises. As part of this effort, we collaborated on the iSpaza project, which aimed to empower small township retailers by enhancing their business operations, improving supply chain efficiencies, and integrating them into the formal economy.
